WHY WE RISE

WHY WE RISE is an ongoing project of the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health, serving the 10 million people of LA County with education and prevention programs and providing mental health-related services to over 250,000 people each year, offering connection, hope, recovery and wellbeing. WHY WE RISE is part of a national movement to transform the mental health care system to demand that easy access to quality care be recognized as a civil right.

Travel Drawings

Whenever I travel abroad to a new city, I draw people who inspire me and fuse their world with mine.
These drawings were featured two times on the popular art blog, BOOOOOOOM.

Artbreakers Jacket

The 72andSunny art production crew, known as the Artbreakers, wanted me to design a girl gang jacket to rep their all-female art department. The brief was “Art and Naked Women”. While I was brainstorming and listening to Sonic Youth’s album, Goo, I was inspired by the album art by Raymond Pettibon.
